Rumah Lestari program starts from home, because the house is the main foundation of a healthy, prosperous and resilient society. Therefore, the program is aimed at strengthening at the household level. Next, what the beneficiaries will do is improving the way they see the waste that up till today has been something that should be removed and disposed of. SO Health Promotion of Dompet Dhuafa, Sifing Lestari delivered a remark.

Resources mean something useful and not to be thrown away. There are many things that can be used from things that are seen as useless. Thus, the “garbage” diction is slowly changed to “leftovers”.

Sifing said, “Dompet Dhuafa has a mandate to realize contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), or sustainable development that maintains the continuous improvement of people’s economic welfare agreed upon by world countries. This program is a part of the development of SDGs villages.”

The mechanism of the program is that the beneficiaries receive tools to support waste settlement activities at home. They will get coaching for one year in collaboration with the health division of Dompet Dhuafa which has also actually been running for 6 months.
