LAMPUNG — A total of 50 people from 34 cross-communities in Lampung flocked to attend the Community Gathering event. The event entitled “Nurturing and Strengthening Collaboration of Kindness” organised by Dompet Dhuafa Lampung was held at Legend Coffee Shop, Tanjung Karang Barat, on Monday (19/2/2024).
The weather, which at that time was covered with raindrops, did not stop the steps of the owners of the volunteer spirit to come to strengthen goodness. Dompet Dhuafa Lampung Branch Manager, Yogi Achmad Fajar, gave his best appreciation for the presence of the community representatives. He realised that the development of Dompet Dhuafa to be able to expand goodness cannot be separated from the support of communities in society.
According to Yogi, this agenda is a gathering place between communities in Lampung and Dompet Dhuafa Lampung. He hopes that this cross-community gathering will further strengthen relationships and also strengthen collaborations for goodness in the future and beyond.
“We would also like to thank friends who have collaborated with us. With the help of community friends, Dompet Dhuafa Lampung can increasingly help the people of Lampung,” he explained in his welcoming session.

Furthermore, Adji Agung Penggalih as Dompet Dhuafa Lampung Partnership Officer explained the various portfolios of collaborative goodness that have been established so far. After that, Wawan Setiawan as Dompet Dhuafa Lampung Empowerment Officer invited community members to hold a discussion. The content of this discussion discusses the role of the community in solving various problems in Lampung.
There were four pillars of themes that were discussed in the discussion session, namely related to economic, educational, social and environmental problems in Lampung. Various ideas with solutions were recorded and will be a reference for solving some of the existing problems.
“Friends! We as the young generation, as agents of change, can contribute to society through social and other programmes in our respective communities. We appreciate what your community has done and let’s continue the goodness,” said Wawan.

Through this discussion session, Wawan invited each community to continue to be actively involved and contribute to society through programmes in their community. There are so many things that can be done to build a good environment in the community. Dompet Dhuafa Lampung will always be ready to participate in community-based acts of kindness.
Responding to this activity, the community representatives who attended welcomed the event and were eager to participate. They also stated that they were ready to participate in voicing opinions, ideas, ideas, collaborative actions, so that goodness would never stop running.
“Alhamdulillah, today’s agenda is very positive. Hopefully the good collaboration will continue and benefit the community,” said Aldo, one of the community meeting participants.

The Community Gathering agenda is also a momentum to strengthen friendship and strengthen collaboration in various opportunities for goodness to welcome Ramadan 1445 H. Not only in Lampung, Dompet Dhuafa also widely opens collaboration with the community wherever its location.
