JORDAN — Winter is coming soon. In Palestine, the struggle for survival continues. Dompet Dhuafa is ready to take action again, preparing a logistics warehouse specifically designed to ensure that the needs of the Palestinian people are met—both for those in refugee camps in Jordan and those who remain in Gaza.

Shofa Qudus, Head of Dompet Dhuafa’s Disaster Management Center (DMC), stated in an official statement that this mission is a continuation of a previous program run by Dompet Dhuafa. This support is expected to continue for at least the next six months.

Various forms of aid will be distributed from this logistics warehouse. These include food and basic necessities, warm clothing and blankets for winter, and Ramadan packages containing food for suhoor and iftar, as well as parcels to cheer them up during the holy month. Medical aid will also be an important part of this warehouse’s operations.

“There are compelling reasons behind the preparation of this logistics warehouse. First, the procurement of goods within Gaza is very limited and costly. By preparing supplies from outside, costs can be reduced and aid can reach more people. Second, access to Gaza is not easy, but it can still be done even though it takes time and patience,” concluded Shofa.

This logistics warehouse will be located in Amman, Jordan. This location was chosen because it is relatively safer, closer, easier to reach, and has excellent support from the government and embassy there.

With this step, Dompet Dhuafa hopes to maintain the flow of aid to the Palestinian people, especially during difficult times such as winter and ahead of Ramadan. For them, humanitarian missions are not limited to sending aid, but also ensuring that hope remains alive amid limitations.

Dompet Dhuafa continues to ensure that every form of concern from the Indonesian people truly reaches those in need, wherever they are. As a form of ongoing concern, Dompet Dhuafa invites all Indonesians to continue to keep hope alive for their brothers and sisters in Palestine by channeling their best donations through the official website digital.dompetdhuafa.org/donasi/pangangaza.
