JAKARTA —-— Dompet Dhuafa officially relaunched the Professional Certification Institute (LSP). This step was taken as part of Dompet Dhuafa’s efforts to develop the quality of competence and professionalism of human resources (HR), especially Dompet Dhuafa employees.
The event, titled “Transforming Excellent Human Resources: Revitalizing Professional Standards in a New Era,” took place at the Sasana Budaya Hall of the Dompet Dhuafa Philanthropy Building in South Jakarta on Friday (01/30/2026). The event was also held in a hybrid format and was attended by dozens of participants, both in person and online.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Dompet Dhuafa Foundation, Ahmad Juwaini, conveyed various potentials, strategic aspects, and challenges that must be overcome by all Dompet Dhuafa personnel. He added that LSP DD is also a form of the institution’s commitment to producing and developing excellent and competent personnel.
“We have divided the strategic aspects of LSP Dompet Dhuafa into several points, namely to improve the quality of Dompet Dhuafa’s human resources, increase the competitive capacity between institutions, improve access to activities and strategic impact both nationally and internationally, and hope to become a real example of a philantropic-based institution,” he explained.
On the other hand, BNSP Chairman Syamsi Hari expressed his appreciation to the management of LSP Dompet Dhuafa. From the re-launching of LSP DD, he hopes that it will bring beneficial impacts and become a door of blessings for all.
For information, LSP DD itself has been established since 2016 and has carried out various activities and programs in accordance with its main tasks and functions. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, there were challenges that caused LSP DD to experience operational impacts and a decline in institutional activities.
From there, since 2024, the Dompet Dhuafa Republika Foundation has entrusted the management of LSP DD to MPP Yayasan Pendidikan Umar Usman or Great Edunesia for activation and optimization.
Seeing the continued high level of encouragement and support for LSP DD, an agreement was reached to renew its management, update its governance, and implement business innovations. Therefore, it is necessary to reintroduce LSP DD to its staff, partners, donors, collaborators, programs, and Dompet Dhuafa organizations.
In addition to relaunching LSP DD, this event also included a discussion session on the importance of competency and certification for all Dompet Dhuafa personnel. The relaunch of LSP DD was also marked by the signing of a Joint Commitment to Strengthen Human Resource Capacity through BNSP Certification Competency.

The inauguration was attended by the Head of BNSP, Syamsi Hari; BNSP Licensing Division Manager, M. Nur Hayid; Chairman of the Dompet Dhuafa Foundation, Ahmad Juwaini; Dompet Dhuafa Foundation Board Member, Tri Estriani; and Managing Director of Dompet Dhuafa Education, Haryo Mojopahit.
Through the re-launch of the LSP, Dompet Dhuafa is committed to continuously striving to improve the quality of its human resources, ensuring they are professional, integrity-driven, impactful, and highly competitive. (Dompet Dhuafa)
