Dompet Dhuafa South Sumatra Launching of the Mushroom House Program in Sungai Pedado Village, Palembang

PALEMBANG, SOUTH SUMATERA — The potential of a village is all natural resources as well as human resources, where all the potential of these resources can give a village an advantage through various sectors such as the economy, education, social, environment, and tourism.

Dompet Dhuafa South Sumatra believes that oyster mushrooms can be one of the commodities that can increase the economic income of the people of Sungai Pedado Village. This opportunity can be seen from the number of enthusiasts in Palembang, especially since oyster mushrooms are packaged in various forms of processed food, and besides, the process of cultivating mushrooms itself does not require special skills and can be done by even lay people.

To encourage the independence of people in the village, through an economic empowerment program, Dompet Dhuafa South Sumatra launched the Rumah Jamur program on Sunday (4/9/2022) located on Jl. H. Sarkowi. B, Keramasan RT 20 RW 7, Kertapati District, Palembang.
