JAKARTA – Dompet Dhuafa FC, together with Turun Minum Grassroots Football and Soccer Schools (SSB) from Depok and Bogor, held a charity match titled “Together with Soccer for Palestine.” The event took place on Thursday (07/08/2025) evening at T Arena Mini Soccer, Cilandak, South Jakarta.
The match began at 6:00 PM and featured friendly matches between teams that had participated in the fundraising campaign. The event was directly coordinated by Turun Minum as the organizing partner.

The match was exciting and sportsmanlike until 8:00 p.m. The highlight of the event was the symbolic handover of a humanitarian donation for Palestine worth Rp5 million, which had been collected beforehand from the players’ participation. The donation was handed over to a representative of Dompet Dhuafa FC as part of Dompet Dhuafa’s Palestine Program.
Tonny Wine Holiday, the PIC for Turun Minum Grassroots Football, stated, “This charity game is a way for Turun Minum and our friends from SSB Depok and Bogor to express our gratitude, especially after we organized many joint activities in June and July. We also want to share our happiness with those in need, particularly the people of Gaza in Palestine. Our hope is that we all move forward together, both in times of joy and sorrow.”

In line with this, Bani Kiswanto, Public Relations Officer of Dompet Dhuafa, also appreciated the enthusiasm of the grassroots football community involved in this charity event. “Through football, we want to instill the values of humanity and solidarity from an early age in everyone.”
This collaboration is hoped to not only serve as a moment of solidarity for the Palestinian people but also open opportunities for collaboration between the sports sector, media, and humanitarian organizations in strengthening social responsibility values among children and teenagers.
