Now that conditions are gradually improving, Dompet Dhuafa is focusing on post-disaster recovery programs, one of which is the construction of Temporary Houses (Rumtara) in locations determined by the government or authorized local officials.

In the initial stage, Dompet Dhuafa aims to build up to 300 Rumtara units in Aceh, equipped with toilet facilities and electricity. Dompet Dhuafa is striving to build 1,000 Rumtara spread across Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.

In addition to recovery programs, Dompet Dhuafa also continues to address the basic needs of survivors, such as food, oil, and so on.

“As of January 28, 2026, there are a total of 77,095 beneficiaries in Aceh who have received various forms of humanitarian assistance distributed gradually and comprehensively by Dompet Dhuafa,” said Rizki Fauzan.
