PADANG, WEST SUMATRA —— Dompet Dhuafa Singgalang Branch together with Dompet Dhuafa Volunteer (DDV) moved to the flood-affected locations in Padang City on Saturday (11/29/2025). During the activity, DDV collaborated with Ikramah (Al-Hijrah Mosque Youth Association) to focus on cleaning up the Darul Mutmainah Mosque in Dadok Tunggul Hitam as part of post-disaster recovery efforts.
The volunteers arrived at the Darul Mutmainah Mosque area and immediately began cleaning several areas of the house of worship that had been affected by the flood. The cleanup included the mosque courtyard, hallway, wudu area, and drainage around the location to ensure that the environment was once again suitable and safe for residents to use.
“After the flood receded, the volunteers carried out a clean-up action to support the comfort of the congregation and the smooth running of the community’s worship activities,” reported Nur Yusril Mahendra, Head of the Dompet Dhuafa Singgalang Branch.

Previously on Wednesday (11/26/2025), Dompet Dhuafa also established a Warm Post and Public Kitchen Service to provide food for refugees affected by flooding in Nagari Kampuang Galapuang, Ulakan District, Padang Pariaman Regency. Additionally, DMC Dompet Dhuafa volunteers in the Solok area distributed 61 gallons of clean water to 61 households in the Jorong Muaro Busuak area.
This humanitarian action is a manifestation of concern for residents who are recovering from the disaster. The presence of volunteers at the location not only brought physical assistance but also accelerated the recovery of public facilities after the disaster and strengthened the spirit of togetherness within the community.
