JAKARTA – Dompet Dhuafa, through the Health Emergency Response Team (RDK) of the Free Health Service (LKC), evacuated a 70-year-old elderly man who was a flood survivor in the Tanjung Sanyang, Cawang, Kramat Jati area, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (03/04/2025).
For information, on Tuesday (03/04/2025), parts of Jakarta, Depok, Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Greater Jakarta) were hit by floods due to high rainfall, causing many large rivers in the region to overflow.
As a humanitarian organization serving the welfare of the community, Dompet Dhuafa responded quickly to the disaster to help residents.

“Our team moved quickly to ensure that flood survivors in need of immediate evacuation got help. This incident shows how important collaboration between medical teams and volunteers is in dealing with post-flood health crises,” said Fakhri Rabbani, RDK Team LKC Dompet Dhuafa.
After evacuating the patient, the RDK and Advocacy Team of Dompet Dhuafa took him to Budhi Asih Regional Hospital in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, for further medical treatment. (Dompet Dhuafa)
