JAKARTA — Dompet Dhuafa personnel held Halal Bi Halal after Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri on Tuesday (9/5/2023). In the South Jakarta Philanthropy Building Mosque courtyard, Halal Bi Halal was titled “Harmony of Friendship of Dompet Dhuafa Insan: Close to Love, Patience, and Truth.”
Coinciding with this moment, Dompet Dhuafa also handed over the relay of the campaign and leadership period symbolically, from the Ramadan period that has passed and is now entering the Sacrificial Animal Stocking (THK) period 1444 H.
Suci N. Qadarsih, as Chairman of Ramadhan 1444 H Dompet Dhuafa, also explained the performance report, collection, and distribution of Dompet Dhuafa during Ramadhan 1444 H. She revealed that the momentum of Ramadan is a momentum of kindness, which is not only about the kindness of donors but also all those involved in it. So, this is not only about achieving collection but also about maintaining trust and spreading the impact of zakat benefits.

“The collection of Dompet Dhuafa in Ramadhan 1444 H at the national scope grew 21.6%, and branches grew 31% from the previous year. Overall growth is at 11.9%,” she explained.
“Again, thank God. Thank you, Dompet Dhuafa personnel who have struggled and collaborated. Of course, thank you to the donors for continuing to entrust their zakat trust through Dompet Dhuafa,” said Suci.
The above note is a positive trend of collection in 2023. This trend means that people’s generosity is increasingly showing a positive trend and is in line with World Giving Index data, which states that Indonesians have become the most generous society in the world for five consecutive years.

It is evident from the increase in donor participation, which increased by 106.1 per cent from the previous year. Gen-Z dominates the record. In addition, the awareness of every individual and community to play an active role in solving social, economic, health, educational, da’wah & cultural problems keep continuing to grow.
“Please support and pray for all Dompet Dhuafa human friends for this mandate and especially maintain the mandate of donors. This year, the sacrificial target is 32,000 equivalents to Doka (Sheep / Goats), bismillah,” said Maria Alqibty, Head of THK Dompet Dhuafa 1444 H.
Also, I present to express appreciation and motivation to the people, Andi Makmur Makka, as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Dompet Dhuafa Foundation. He said, “Thank you for all the hard work. But we remind you, do not get carried away with the situation. There is still a lot of poverty, and welfare is not evenly distributed. There are still many poor people who need justice,” she appealed.
