The Head of DD Lampung Branch Nandrianto Suparno delivered his speech at the launch of the Bedah Warung Program a collaboration between DD Lampung and UPZDK Permata Bank Syariah on Thursday 852025 at Sakara Coffee Bandar Lampung
The Warung Renovation Program is a breath of fresh air for beneficiaries working in the MSME sector. More than just capital assistance, this program also provides interventions in the form of improvements to warung infrastructure, the provision of business support tools, and business development training. The hope is that this program will foster economic independence among beneficiaries and even enable them to become aid providers in the future.
In his speech, Bobby Manullang expressed his gratitude for the collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa Lampung and UPZDK Permata Bank Syariah. He emphasized the importance of gratitude for every blessing received and appreciated the fighting spirit of the beneficiaries.
“Today, there are still parties who care, such as UPZDK Permata Bank Syariah. What we should note is the spirit of striving. I congratulate the beneficiaries for their efforts. Nurture and maintain trust in partners and customers, develop creativity so that MSMEs can survive,“ he said.
He also added, ”We hope that we will not only provide capital, but also training and market access, and we hope that similar programs can be developed in other regions.”

In line with this, Habibullah, Head of UPZDK Permata Bank Syariah, revealed that his party has long been partnering with Dompet Dhuafa in distributing charitable funds for various social programs. He highlighted the potential for synergy between beneficiaries of the Bedah Warung Program in Lampung.
“What is interesting about this program is what we discovered today. We also think that there is synergy that can be achieved between beneficiaries. For example, there are MSMEs in the printing, cake, milk drink, souvenir, and coffee bean industries, with upstream and downstream activities in coffee shops. These can work together synergistically. Don’t forget that we must also maintain good service,” he said.
Appreciation and congratulations were also expressed by Nandrianto Suparno to the beneficiaries. He hoped that this program would have a significant positive impact on the development of the beneficiaries’ businesses.

Tales of emotion and hope were shared by the beneficiaries. Novi, owner of the small business Ngupi, said that the assistance came at the right time.
“This assistance is a breath of fresh air because the economy is currently sluggish, making sales difficult, and it turns out we’re not alone. We’ve gained many new insights, and we hope this assistance will continue for a long time,” she said.
She also shared the initial challenges she faced in accessing the market.
Agung from Dapur Kue also expressed his gratitude. His business empowers elderly women who lack technological and marketing knowledge.
“Thank you for this assistance. Dapur Kue helps its makers, who are mostly elderly women, but they are not tech-savvy and don’t know how to sell their products. So we also assist with marketing. We also don’t rule out the possibility of selling to traditional markets,” he said.

An inspiring story also comes from Adit, one of the founders of Sakara Coffee, where the program was launched. Along with three friends, he started this Japan-themed coffee business in 2020 amid the pandemic. After moving locations several times, Sakara Coffee is now finding stability at its current location, though it still operates on a profit-sharing rental system and is undergoing renovations. This opportunity marks an important milestone for Sakara Coffee to continue growing.
The launch of the Bedah Warung program is not merely a ceremonial event but also a symbol of hope and renewed spirit for SMEs in Lampung. The collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa and Permata Bank Syariah is expected to continue and bring greater benefits to those in need. (Dompet Dhuafa)
