“First, we would like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the qurbani animal donors who have entrusted their animals to Zona Madina Dompet Dhuafa. May this be recorded as a good deed in the eyes of Allah SWT,” said Jabaluddin.
The event was also attended by the management and partners of Dompet Dhuafa, including: Parni Hadi; Initiator and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dompet Dhuafa; Herdiansah; Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Dompet Dhuafa; Yayat Supriyatna; Member of the Supervisory Board of Dompet Dhuafa; Dian Mulyadi; Deputy Director of Corporate Secretary at Dompet Dhuafa; Anna Rahmawati; Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Indonesian Entrepreneurship Empowerment Foundation; Udhi Tri Kurniawan; Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Indonesian Entrepreneurship Empowerment Foundation; Armie Robie; Director of the Madina Zone at Dompet Dhuafa.

In his speech, Herdiansah expressed his high hopes for increased community participation in qurbani.
“This year, there are approximately 1.78 million people participating in the sacrifice in Indonesia, and that number continues to grow. We hope that next year, we will not only receive sacrificial meat but also become part of those who sacrifice. Imagine if Dompet Dhuafa could slaughter up to one million animals, raise funds amounting to Rp10 trillion, and even have the President present to officially launch the event,” he said.
He also added that Dompet Dhuafa aims to collect Rp55 billion in sacrificial funds and will slaughter around 25,000 sacrificial animals, which will be distributed to various regions, including Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua.

Meanwhile, Parni Hadi in his message raised the concept of “Triangular Love of Qurban.
“It is not a love triangle as we often hear, but love for Allah (hablum minallah), love for fellow human beings (hablum minannas), and love for nature (hablum minal ‘alam).
Qurban is an act of love, exemplified by the Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience and sacrifice,“ he explained.
He also emphasized that sacrifice is not just about giving, but also about empowering.
”Dompet Dhuafa has developed a concept of sacrifice based on empowerment. For example, small mosques are given capital to raise goats or cows. The hope is that in the future they will become independent and economically empowered,” he added.

After the slaughter, the sacrificial meat was immediately distributed to 1,200 beneficiaries in four sub-districts around the Madina Zone, namely Parung, Ciseeng, Tajurhalang, and Kemang.
The sacrificial process at Dompet Dhuafa is known for its speed, transparency, and integrity. Donors can monitor the condition of the animals from selection, slaughter, to distribution in real-time through an integrated system that is easy to access. (Dompet Dhuafa)
