ROHIS Constitutional Court Entrusts Donations Through Dompet Dhuafa for Survivors in Sumatra

JAKARTA —–— Dompet Dhuafa received a donation for Sumatra from the Islamic Spirituality Agency of the Constitutional Court (ROHIS MK) worth IDR 20 million on Tuesday (January 6, 2026), in Central Jakarta.

The handover of the assistance was attended by Dompet Dhuafa’s Retail Fundraising Manager, Yudha Andilla; Dompet Dhuafa’s Social Partnership, Muhammad Kamil Zaidan; and ROHIS MK representative, Ulfha, along with her team.

Yudha Andilla expressed his deep appreciation to all parties, especially ROHIS MK, for providing assistance to the survivors. The aid, said Yudha, will be distributed in the form of a public kitchen and clean water programs.

“Hopefully, this program can give new spirit to the survivors to face the days ahead,” he said.

Hopefully, he continued, ROHIS MK can provide encouragement and inspiration for all parties to help each other in alleviating the difficulties experienced by disaster survivors in Sumatra.

The Retail Fundraising Manager of Dompet Dhuafa hopes that this collaboration can continue and inspire many other institutions, both government and non-government agencies.

“The disaster that occurred in Sumatra is not only the responsibility of the government, but also the responsibility of all of us, regardless of the circumstances,” said Yudha.

Yudha revealed that the current conditions on the ground still require a lot of support, especially for survivors who have successfully transitioned from the evacuation phase to the recovery phase. For this reason, the Dompet Dhuafa program focuses on the survival of the victims, such as providing public kitchens, clean water, temporary shelters, and access to necessary public facilities.

“So that the residents’ activities can return to normal. Hopefully, this program can provide new light and new spirit for the survivors to continue their hopes for the future,” he hoped.

In line with Yudha, Ulfha, as a representative of ROHIS MK, also hopes that survivors can recover quickly. She fully supports the humanitarian efforts carried out by Dompet Dhuafa volunteers on the ground. (Dompet Dhuafa)
