BOGOR — The mission to expand the distribution of sacrificial meat to remote parts of the country is still being maintained in the Sacrificial Animal Stocking Program (THK) 1444 H Dompet Dhuafa. In line with that, with the spirit of One Sacrifice Many Goodnesses, on Thursday (29/6/2023), the Indonesian Artist Managers Association (IMARINDO), together with Dompet Dhuafa, distributed sacrificial animals equivalent to sheep/goats (doka) in the Madina Zone area, Parung, Bogor.
“Some sacrificial meat was also directly distributed to beneficiaries around the Madina Zone. Not only distributing, but Dompet Dhuafa also campaigns for “Kurban Asik Tanpa Plastik”, but the packaging used is also replaced with small containers made from bamboo (besek),” said Udhi Tri Kurniawan, Director of Madina Zone Dompet Dhuafa.
Imarindo, or Indonesian Artist Managers Association, accommodates artist managers, musicians, entertainers, and other artists throughout Indonesia. The organization was established to help the performance and problems of artist managers and artists it handles with EO and Promoters, even with tv, radio, print, and online media.

This event is Imarindo’s first collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa to spread benefits. Imarindo also hopes that there will be more good collaborations in other fields with Dompet Dhuafa in the future. Imarindo also admired the Madina Zone empowerment area managed by Dompet Dhuafa.
“We hope there will be other cooperation after this; a lot can be aligned with our Social and Spiritual Fields. Frankly, we were amazed when we got here. The place is cool, the empowerment of people here is good, and there is a mosque—the campus, well managed. One day maybe you can make a collaboration here too. Thank you very much to Dompet Dhuafa; hopefully, our charity can all be accepted and become a blessing,” said Roberto Pieter, Chairman of Tamarindo.

In distributing sacrificial animals, Zona Madina Dompet Dhuafa has implemented go green, which uses small bamboo containers for sacrificial meat. The layer of banana leaves in the small containers made from bamboo (besek) makes the meat fresher and not contaminated by toxins in plastic. Dompet Dhuafa promotes a campaign to reduce plastic bags to distribute sacrificial meat.
The sacrificers get a report of every sacrificial process passed by their sacrificial animals until they reach the beneficiaries. Photos before and after slaughter are also reports that the sacrificers will receive. Sacrificial animals provided by Dompet Dhuafa will be distributed to areas in need, namely remote, underdeveloped, and most profound areas. In addition, the intended area is where people have never enjoyed sacrificial animal meat, as well as disaster or conflict-prone areas.

The Madina Zone area is developed as a multi-thematic program covering five pillars: economy, education, health, social, culture and da’wah. It was approaching the intensification of area-based community empowerment programs determined by the perimeter based on ecological geography and government administration.
