BEKASI, WEST JAVA — Now, Muslims are welcoming the joy of Ramadan 1445 AH. A month in which the reward for every act of kindness is multiplied. As seen at Labschool Cibubur High School, Bekasi, which is once again working together for good.
As a form of brotherhood among fellow human beings, SMA Labschool Cibubur once again raised funds to help the needs of orphans in the Achievement Motivation Training and Joint Prayer event for the Yudhaka Hritahata Batch on Thursday (8/3/2024). The donations collected were then distributed through Dompet Dhuafa.
The donations collected were the result of collecting the pocket money that the students set aside. From this fundraiser, Labschool Cibubur High School managed to raise funds worth Rp. 22.2 million. The donation was symbolically handed over by the Deputy Principal for Academic Affairs, Mrs. Arma, the Deputy Principal for Student Affairs, Rahmat Fajar, the WOTK Chairperson of YH Batch, Mrs. Prihati Huru, and a representative from the batch. The donation was then received by Yudha Andilla as the Retail Fundraising Manager of Dompet Dhuafa who was also present at the activity.

“The donation that we entrusted to Dompet Dhuafa today is a big trust that must be delivered to the beneficiaries. We do this activity every year. This time we collected donations and distributed them to several places, to neighborhood mosques and also to Dompet Dhuafa’s Honor the Orphans Program. “This activity can provide lessons and experience for students of the YH Generation who will continue their education in college. And of course, with this donation, the hope is that it can help and meet the needs of the beneficiaries,” said Mrs. Arma.

He added that his party would like to thank Dompet Dhuafa for being present to receive the mandate from the students. Meanwhile, Yudha Andilla added that Dompet Dhuafa has been entrusted with many good deeds from Labschool Cibubur High School.
“On behalf of myself and the institution, I would like to thank Labschool Cibubur High School for entrusting Dompet Dhuafa with their mandate over the past few years. The hope is that you will become an extension of kindness for our brothers and sisters who need help,” he concluded.
This collaboration continued until the month of Ramadan, namely the Intensive Study of Ramadan Charity or SINAR, which was filled with a variety of activities. One of them was a motivational seminar by Ustaz Zaky Ahmad Rivai from Dompet Dhuafa on Thursday (14/3/2024).
This motivational seminar is intended to make students more optimistic about achieving a bright future, as is the content of the material presented, which is about the companions of the Prophet Muhammad who were successful in their time by working hard and remaining obedient in carrying out the commands of Islam.
Ustaz Zaky Ahmad Rivai said that many young people today have idols to encourage them to achieve their dreams. However, he does not look back at the fact that many figures in the time of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH are worthy of emulation.
“Today’s youth have strange idols. There are boy/girl groups from Korea, there are artists, and so on. But they don’t look back at history, even many of the Prophet’s companions were successful and worthy of being our role models as Muslims,” he said.
We should interpret the moment of Ramadan as a holy month to evaluate ourselves to become better people. One way is to reopen the biography of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad to be used as a role model. (Dompet Dhuafa)
