JAKARTA —— Eid al-Adha will fall on July 9. The 2022 Eid al-Adha celebrations will inevitably involve the slaughter of sacrificial animals. Public enthusiasm for sacrificial animal slaughter is expected to increase as the economy begins to improve, despite the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease affecting several livestock sectors in parts of Indonesia. On the other hand, Dompet Dhuafa continues to intensify its monitoring (Quality Control), particularly ensuring the health of sacrificial animals from its sacrificial animal partners and DD Farm as a provider of sacrificial animals.
For those who intend to perform the ritual, here are the latest prices from Dompet Dhuafa ahead of Eid al-Adha 2022.

This year, we are targeting the distribution of 40,000 sacrificial animals, which will be distributed to areas in need of sacrificial meat. The criteria are: 3T areas (Outermost, Disadvantaged, Frontier), areas experiencing a deficit of sacrificial meat, post-disaster areas, and we will distribute them in the form of live sacrificial animals that will later be slaughtered and distributed as fresh meat to the surrounding community. In addition to areas within Indonesia, we will also distribute to several regions abroad,” concluded Dian Mulyadi, Chairman of THK Dompet Dhuafa 2022. (Dompet Dhuafa /
