SOLO — Dompet Dhuafa Central Java is once again presenting a skills-based empowerment program through #KelasJadiBisa. This program focuses on helping MSME players and job seekers to acquire skills and abilities that are relevant to current industry needs.
On October 28–31, 2025, Dompet Dhuafa Jateng collaborated with BPVP Surakarta to hold a training session on brewing coffee with manual brewing equipment (40 JP). The program was officially opened by Ardanto Jati Winoto as the Sub-coordinator of BPVP Surakarta. In his speech, Ardanto said that this training is part of the government’s commitment through the Ministry of Manpower to expand access to vocational training.
“The hope is that these skills can open up new job opportunities while increasing the competitiveness of participants in the business world,” he said.

Public enthusiasm for this training was very high. More than 80 people registered, but due to limited capacity, only 16 participants were able to attend the training for this batch. The selected participants came from various regions, ranging from Surakarta, Kudus, Salatiga, to Banjarnegara. This shows that interest in learning and improving coffee brewing skills is increasing in Central Java.
The head of the Central Java branch of Dompet Dhuafa, Zaini Tafrikhan, who was present at the opening of this event, said that this program is a tangible manifestation of the utilization of zakat in the economic pillar.
“May every cup of coffee not only bring flavor, but also goodness that flows from the donors to the beneficiaries,” he said.
