YOGYAKARTA — Coinciding with 10 Muharram 1445 H which is said to be the Day of Eid for Orphans, Dompet Dhuafa Yogyakarta collaborated with Quran Review to distribute Qurans for orphans and Quran teachers. This is done as a form of support for their happiness. Dozens of Happiness Packages were distributed to benefit recipients at Dompet Dhuafa Jogja Office, namely in Patangpuluhan, Wirobrajan, Yogyakarta, on Thursday (27/07/2023).
Bilal Imam Shah Majaiz as the person in charge of this activity said, this action is one of a series of activities for Muharram month 1445 H held by Dompet Dhuafa Jogja and also Quran Review. A series of agendas began with the completion of hundreds of Qur’ans distributed in Kulonprogo, Sleman, Bantul, Gunungkidul, and Yogyakarta. After that, it will be closed with a workshop and joint study as well as happiness support for orphans and rural Quran teachers at the Dompet Dhuafa Office.
According to him, reciting Quran activity by teachers and students is a milestone in Islamic teaching for future generations of people. The struggle that may be full of challenges does not make a problem for those who want to continue to understand the Quran and Islamic religious education.

“They are a learning milestone for future generations. The field and distance that may be full of challenges are not a problem for them with the aim of making these future generations understand the Quran and other Islamic religious education. Their services are irreplaceable, so that this little support hopefully can be useful and can increase the enthusiasm of Quran teachers in educating and teaching children in the remote areas,” he said.
The beneficiary teachers present also expressed their gratitude to the donors and parties involved. This sense of pleasure also cannot be separated from the orphans who get a new Quran mushaf from Dompet Dhuafa.
