JAKARTA —-— Humanity knows no profession, community, or territorial boundaries. Humanity comes from anyone who cares and takes action. The Akademi Trainer Group proved this by distributing humanitarian donations to disaster survivors in Sumatra through Dompet Dhuafa at the Dompet Dhuafa Philanthropy Building, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (January 13, 2026). The donations were the result of a fundraising campaign conducted through a national webinar titled “Peduli Air Mata Sumatra” (Caring for Sumatra’s Tears) organized by the Akademi Trainer Group.
Operations Director of the Akademi Trainer Group, Rizky Mahendra, stated that this humanitarian action arose from the trainers’ concern for the condition of disaster survivors in Sumatra. As a community active in the field of education and human resource development, the Akademi Trainer Group aims to contribute positively to society at large.
“We are a community of trainers who care about humanitarian issues. When we saw the condition of our brothers and sisters in Sumatra, we felt called to contribute and take part in efforts to ease their burden,” said Rizky.
He explained that this form of concern was manifested through the holding of a two-day national webinar with eight training sessions. Participants were charged a registration fee of Rp99,000, with all proceeds going to humanitarian donations.
“We held a national webinar and emphasized from the outset that this activity was not for profit. We intended all proceeds to be donated to our brothers and sisters in Sumatra. Thank God, this activity raised twenty million rupiah,” he added.

Furthermore, Rizky said that the Trainer Group Academy partnered with Dompet Dhuafa as a donation distribution partner because they believe in Dompet Dhuafa’s professionalism and capacity in handling humanitarian programs, especially in disaster situations.
“We realize that distributing aid requires competence and readiness in the field. Therefore, we entrust this mandate to Dompet Dhuafa, which has experience in responding to various disasters in Indonesia,” he explained.
He also hopes that the donations distributed can strengthen the survivors and bring hope during the post-disaster recovery period. His party wants our brothers and sisters in Sumatra to know that they are not alone. There are many parties who care and continue to pray for and support them to get back on their feet.
Meanwhile, Community Relations of Dompet Dhuafa, Dimas Muttakhin, expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the trust given by the Trainer Group Academy to Dompet Dhuafa as a partner in distributing humanitarian donations. According to him, the trust given is a big mandate that will be guarded and fulfilled as well as possible.
“Alhamdulillah, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to the entire Akademi Trainer Group family for entrusting Dompet Dhuafa as a partner in distributing donations to our brothers and sisters in Sumatra. Insha Allah, we will distribute the donations to the survivors in West Sumatra, North Sumatra, and Aceh. May this collaboration become a charitable deed and bring blessings to all parties involved,” he added.
