JAKARTA – Ramadan is a month full of blessings and forgiveness. This moment is the right time to do good deeds. Like what the Vespa 60s Community did, collaborating with Dompet Dhuafa to share takjil on Saturday (4/30/2024). A total of 250 takjil packages were distributed to road users, security guards, and online motorcycle taxi drivers. The Vespa 60s Community collaborated with Dompet Dhuafa as a channel for kindness in distributing takjil around the Panglima Polim area, South Jakarta.
Adi, as the Public Relations of the Vespa 60s Community, said that this takjil sharing action was expected to bring happiness to everyone involved.
“Even though it was raining, it did not stop us from sharing kindness in the form of takjil with road users. Moments like this can only be found in the month of Ramadan. In addition to the blessings received, there is also togetherness in motivating acts of kindness towards others,” said Adi.

This takjil sharing activity is a form of concern from the Vespa 60s Community and Dompet Dhuafa for Muslims who are fasting. Adi explained that apart from the takjil sharing activity, he and his community friends also often carry out other social activities. They even schedule acts of kindness to be done once a month by gathering and sharing assistance with the poor in a certain area. In addition, three times a month the Vespa 60s Community also goes camping and shares donations with orphans in the vicinity of the camping area.
Dompet Dhuafa representative, Khairunnisa, also attended the sharing of takjil (traditional snacks served during Ramadan) and breaking the fast together at the Solo Panglima Polim Kitchen. Nisa expressed her appreciation for the action taken by the Vespa 60s Community. This is because, in addition to pursuing their motorized hobby, they also continue to care for others and do not hesitate to share with anyone who is entitled to it.
“Kindness can be done by anyone, anywhere, and to anyone. In addition to sharing 250 takjil packages, we also held an iftar together as a form of friendship between Dompet Dhuafa and the Vespa 60s Community,” said Nisa.

Husni Uniel, as the General Chair of the Vespa 60s Community, stated that a hobby can become sustenance and a hobby can become a kindness.
“It’s cool to be able to keep our hobby going, but at the same time do social activities that are beneficial to the public. We hope that this collaboration of kindness can continue. In this third year, Dompet Dhuafa has accompanied us in acts of kindness. Hopefully we can continue to work together on other programs of kindness,” explained Husni.
During the breaking of the fast, the Vespa 60s Community announced that on March 20, 2024, they will hold a routine camping trip to the Puncak area of Bogor. During the trip, they will hold a charity event for orphans in the area. They have many other acts of kindness planned for the future.
