Vespa 60s Jabodetabek and Scomadi Indonesia Spread Joy to Orphans at the Sixties and Friends Ramadan Night Ride 2026

JAKARTA —-— The spirit of giving during the holy month of Ramadan was once again brought to life through a collaboration between Scomadi Indonesia, the Jabodetabek Vespa 60s community, and Dompet Dhuafa in an event titled “Sixties and Friends Ramadan Night Ride 2026.” The event, held on Saturday (March 7, 2026), at the Scomadi Indonesia Building in Tebet, South Jakarta, served as a moment of togetherness for the two-wheeler community to spread social benefits to others.

The event carried the theme “Sharing in Togetherness During the Holy Month of Ramadan,” featuring a series of activities designed not only to strengthen bonds among communities but also to promote social compassion. The event began in the afternoon with participants distributing iftar snacks to the public, followed by a spiritual talk, a communal iftar, congregational prayer, charity distributions, entertainment, door prizes, and a group ride around Jakarta.

During the event, donations totaling Rp7,321,676 were successfully collected and channeled through Dompet Dhuafa to support a program assisting orphaned children. The funds raised serve as a tangible expression of the automotive community’s commitment that togetherness extends beyond hobby-based activities to become a social movement that directly impacts beneficiaries.

Dimas Muttakhin, Community Relations Officer at Dompet Dhuafa, expressed his appreciation for the trust and synergy built with the automotive community in bringing benefits to orphaned children. According to him, collaborations like this demonstrate that the spirit of sharing can flourish across various social circles, including the classic car community, which is bound by strong solidarity.

“We deeply appreciate this collaboration because it shows that the spirit of Ramadan can inspire many people to share. “The donations collected are not merely about the amount, but they bring hope to the orphans who will benefit from them through Dompet Dhuafa’s programs,” said Dimas.

Meanwhile, Aditya Ardianto, representing Scomadi Indonesia, emphasized that social activities have become an integral part of the values continuously fostered in every community gathering. The Ramadan period is seen as the best time to strengthen bonds among participants while delivering broader social benefits.

“We want to make community activities not just a gathering, but also a space for sharing. Through this Ramadan Night Ride, we hope the spirit of solidarity continues to grow and provides tangible benefits for the community,” said Adit.

Muhammad Husni Budiman, as the chairman of Vespa 60s Jabodetabek, also noted that the spirit of sharing has become a defining characteristic of the community that they wish to uphold. The Ramadan night ride was chosen so that community members could experience a sense of togetherness while also demonstrating care for one another.

“For us, community togetherness becomes more meaningful when others benefit from it. This donation for orphans is an expression of gratitude and an invitation for the community to remain close to humanitarian values,” said the man who is affectionately known as Unil.

This initiative was supported by a number of partners and classic motorcycle communities in Jakarta, whose collaboration helped ensure the event’s success. The presence of these supporters demonstrates that community-based social movements can grow more broadly when many parties are united by a shared spirit.

Through this collaboration, Dompet Dhuafa hopes that the synergy with the automotive community can continue to develop into a sustainable social movement, particularly in supporting the needs of orphans, education, and strengthening the well-being of beneficiary families. (Dompet Dhuafa)
