PARUNG, BOGOR – CARD MRI visited the Kawasan Zona Madina Dompet Dhuafa. The visit is a continuation of the Learning Exchange program, on the fifth day in Indonesia, the MRI CARD team will study the management of ZISWAF in education, health, economy, social, da’wah and culture in various empowerment programs of Dompet Dhuafa.
The MRI CARD group went to the location at 09.00 WIB and arrived at the Madina Zone at 10.00 WIB on Friday (3/3/2023), Located on Jl. Raya Parung, Jampang, Kemang District, Bogor Regency.
“They can get several things related to educational empowerment, health, how to empower through economic programs and so on in the Madina Zone,” said Haryo Mojopahit, GM of Communication and Strategic Alliance of Dompet Dhuafa.

The activity was opened with the presentation of material on the management of ZISWAF, especially in the Madina Zone area, followed by a tour around the Madina zone area, starting from exploring the Madina Zoo, the MRI CARD group was caught taking pictures with several animals there, followed by seeing the Madina Green House.
The tour continued to visit the Budi Bakti Campus, during the tour, several members of the MRI CARD team raised questions about the number of students, majors and so on. Not stopping there, the fourteen MRI CARD teams also visited the Dompet Dhuafa Rumah Sehat Terpadu Hospital, a healing house model for the poor, which provides free health services, supported by zakat and waqf funds, starting from the lobby to ending at the Qatar Charity Building.
CARD MRI also welcomed this activity, one of them was Anwar Radiamoda, Sharia Advisor of CARD MRI Philippines, who is fluent in Indonesian. Anwar revealed that the purpose of his and the team’s coming to Indonesia was to learn and develop knowledge related to the management of Ziswaf to develop his institution’s programs in the Philippines.
“We are pleased and happy because we have seen what we have not seen and we also already know Dompet Dhuafa’s efforts for business, social, proselytizing, ZISWAF, we already know that we are there in the Philippines wanting to learn and develop because that is what is lacking there, because it has not become an institution like Dompet Dhuafa, especially in the Muslim-majority region there, Anwar said.
Meanwhile, after treading in his footsteps at RS RST Dompet Dhuafa, a break was held for Friday Prayers and lunch at Madina Terrace, which carries the concept of a buffet. Meanwhile, several Muslim teams go to the Madina Mosque to perform Friday Prayers.
The activity ended with a presentation on the Independent Community Work Program surrounding the empowerment of MSMEs in the Madina Zone and visiting the Lembaga Pengembangan Insani (LPI) Dompet Dhuafa, the MRI CARD group was greeted with a performance from Smart Ekselensia LPI Dompet Dhuafa students by displaying TRASHIC (Trash Music), which is music produced from waste or used materials.
“I was talking to some of the students there earlier, so they said that they memorized the Quran and others about proselytizing and Islam, and that’s what we hope is also there (Philippines),” Anwar added.
Dompet Dhuafa hopes that in the future, it will continue to collaborate and strengthen the friendship between 2 countries, both with the Philippines and with other countries. (Dompet Dhuafa/Anndini)
