BEKASI —-— On Saturday (13/12/2025), Dompet Dhuafa and Assu’adaa Islamic Integrated Bilingual School held a parenting seminar entitled “Collaboration between Fathers, Mothers, and Teachers in Optimizing Adolescent Development in the Modern Era.” On the same occasion, Assu’adaa Islamic Integrated Bilingual School also handed over donations for Sumatra, which were collected from all elements of SDIT and SMPIT Assu’adaa, to Dompet Dhuafa.
The event began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a series of speeches from school representatives. Through this collaboration, SIT Assu’adaa emphasized that education is not solely focused on academic achievement, but also on character building and instilling human values such as compassion and the spirit of sharing, which aligns with the seminar’s theme on efforts to optimize adolescent development.

The students enlivened the event by presenting various works from their extracurricular activities. The performances began with poetry readings by students from the public speaking extracurricular club, followed by hadrah, storytelling from the English Club, and Saman dance. The performances were met with enthusiastic applause from parents and teachers as a form of appreciation for the students’ creativity.
This activity was attended not only by students and teachers, but also by parents and guardians. Among the series of student performances, one of the most touching was a work from the cinematography extracurricular activity in the form of a video showing the students’ gratitude to their parents for the love, education, and sacrifices they have given.
Entering the main session, a Parenting Seminar was presented by Ustaz Aris Ahmad Jaya. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from the two-way response that was built throughout the session. The material presented was relevant and reinforced the shared role in accompanying children’s growth and development.
The series of activities was closed with the symbolic handover of a donation of IDR 16,000,000 from SIT Assu’adaa to Dompet Dhuafa to help residents affected by the disaster in Sumatra.
