JAKARTA —-— Dompet Dhuafa has once again achieved a remarkable feat in the national philanthropy scene. At the 2026 General Members’ Meeting (RUA) organized by the Indonesian Philanthropy Association (PFI) on Thursday (April 23, 2026), Dompet Dhuafa won awards in three strategic categories simultaneously.
Through these categories, Dompet Dhuafa was recognized for its excellence in several crucial aspects of philanthropy ecosystem development, namely:
- Thought Leaders Category: Recognition of DD’s role in providing ideas and thought leadership in the social sector.
- Food Safety and Nutrition Cluster Coordinator Category: Recognition of DD’s leadership in managing food security synergies.
- Members Collaboration Category: A special award for the success in building cross-sector collaboration with a broad impact.


“Alhamdulillah, we at Dompet Dhuafa are grateful and thank the Indonesian Philanthropy Association for bestowing three awards at once. These awards represent a significant achievement and recognition, and we dedicate them to our brothers and sisters who have worked tirelessly alongside Dompet Dhuafa. We also dedicate them to our brothers and sisters who are currently in disaster-affected areas and across all program regions, who have worked tirelessly to bring positive change to Indonesia,” said Herdiansah, Deputy Chair of the Dompet Dhuafa Board of Directors, after personally receiving one of the awards.
In the Members Collaboration category, PFI specifically highlighted two flagship programs by Dompet Dhuafa that were deemed successful in strengthening cross-institutional synergy:
- Philanthropy Symposium for Climate Action: An initiative to accelerate the green transition, carried out in partnership with the Climateworks Centre – Monash University and the Belantara Foundation.
- Ramadan Gathering: An innovative collaboration with Lindungi Hutan that integrates the spirit of sharing with environmental conservation.


“This award is a token of appreciation for Dompet Dhuafa’s role and commitment in fostering collaboration that has a positive impact on PFI members and the wider community,” wrote Rully N. Amrullah, Acting Executive Director of the Indonesian Philanthropy Association (PFI), in an official statement.
The event, held at the Puri Dani Auditorium, IPMI International Business School, South Jakarta, served as a moment to recognize Dompet Dhuafa’s dedication throughout the 2025–2026 period.
