BOGOR, WEST JAVA — Dompet Dhuafa’s Corpse Review Agency (Barzah) together with the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) of the King Abdurrahman Al-Khair Mosque Cibinong, held a corpse care training on Saturday (26/8/2023). The presentation of the training material was led by the Instructor of Funeral Processing, Ustaz Pupu Syarifuddin, to more than 40 participants. They were members of the King Abdurrahman Al-Khair Mosque and members of the Ummu Mahjan Taklim Assembly.
The purpose of this training activity is to build understanding, so that people are no longer afraid and have difficulties in handling corpses. In addition, the most important thing is that this synergy is expected to build community awareness to help take care of the dead in their neighborhood.
Kemal Aziz as Dompet Dhuafa’s Mosque Fundraising Network Officer expressed his gratitude to the DKM of King Abdurrahman Al-Khair Mosque and the Barzah Team which was also supported by BSI Bank for synergizing together to organize this training. He hopes that this training can improve the ability of the takmir, especially in the field of corpse management.
“On behalf of Dompet Dhuafa, I am very grateful to the DKM of King Abdurrahman Al-Khair Mosque, the Barzah Team, and also BSI Bank. Hopefully in the future there will be many synergies like this so that more takmirs and individuals have the ability to preserve and glorify the dead in their respective environments. Of course, hopefully this will be a field of jariah reward for all of us,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ustaz Pupu also expressed his hope for the participants, that the participants who have received training can then provide their expertise and knowledge to go into the community. In particular, for those who are in need of handling funeral arrangements in the vicinity.
“Hopefully, the community can provide their expertise and knowledge to work in the community, especially for those who are in need of funeral handling in the vicinity,” he hoped.

One of the participants, Adi Supriyadi, responded well to this training. He hopes that in the future Dompet Dhuafa can often hold other events that are beneficial to the people. Of course there are still many mosques or community assemblies in other areas that need this training.
The same is true with Achdian Kustianto. As the head of DKM King Abdurrahman Al-Khair, he explained that this training event was really cool and exciting. This can increase knowledge and knowledge, both for the marbot and other congregations.
