Dompet Dhuafa Receives Donation from KPP PMA Satu to Support Orphan Programs in Commemoration of Tax Day

JAKARTA — In commemoration of Tax Day on July 14, Dompet Dhuafa received a donation from the Foreign Investment Tax Office (KPP PMA) One, which once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting social activities through the handover of donations.

The donation will be channeled to support a program empowering orphaned children through the provision of school supplies (school kits) as a gesture of concern for the education of the younger generation, particularly those from underprivileged families.

The donation was symbolically handed over by Head of the Foreign Investment Tax Office (KPP PMA) Satu, Oding RIfaldi, to the Dompet Dhuafa team in Jakarta. On this occasion, Oding said that this activity was a form of tangible contribution from the tax agency to social development beyond its main duties and functions in collecting state revenue.

“On Tax Day, we are encouraged to give. Although our activities are not limited to Tax Day alone. Whenever there is an opportunity, we make it a habit to share. For example, during the Jakarta floods, we frequently distributed donations to several orphanages and partner foundations. And on this occasion, we entrust this donation to Dompet Dhuafa,” added Oding.

Discussion on the collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa and KPP PMA Satu

This is not the first time KPP PMA Satu has partnered with Dompet Dhuafa in social activities. Previously, in 2024, this agency also distributed aid for educational needs at a school in a remote area of Pandeglang.

Dompet Dhuafa welcomed this collaboration and expressed its appreciation for the continued support provided. “We at Dompet Dhuafa would like to express our gratitude because this is not our first collaboration. Insha’Allah, this year we are intensifying our ‘Muliakan Yatim’ campaign during the month of Muharram, and the funds donated to Dompet Dhuafa will be distributed to them,” said Ahmad Faqih Syarafaddin, General Manager of ZIS Collection at Dompet Dhuafa.

“This is a donation from friends, hopefully Dompet Dhuafa can receive and distribute it. I am confident that Dompet Dhuafa is trustworthy to deliver this assistance to those who are entitled to it,” concluded Oding.

Through this initiative, KPP PMA Satu hopes to continue contributing to strengthening collaboration between government agencies and philanthropic organizations to achieve a more empowered, fair, and prosperous society. (Dompet Dhuafa)
