JAWA BARAT — The excitement of Ramadan is very much felt in the Madina Zone Area of Dompet Dhuafa. The Dompet Dhuafa zakat, infaq, sedekah, and waqf empowerment area held Wisata Yatim Ramadan (Ramadan Orphans Tourism) in the Madina Zone area, Bogor, on Saturday-Sunday (15-16/3/2025). This activity invites 45 children consisting of orphans, the poor, and general participants to play and learn together in the joy of togetherness in this blessed month.
The head of Ramadan 1446 H Zona Madina Dompet Dhuafa, Jabaludin, said that this activity aims to bring happiness to orphans and the poor. In this event, Zona Madina collaborated with Jampang English Village (JEV) and Kubertumbuh, IMZ Dompet Dhuafa, to strengthen the mental (Character Building) and spiritual capacity of children, so that they have a stronger mentality and confidence in facing life’s challenges.
“In the context of the month of Ramadan, we held an event together with friends from Jampang English Village (JEV) in the form of an Orphan Tour and donations to orphans. This activity also involved general participants, so that we can share the joy and increase our care for orphans,” he said.

Entitled Ramadan English Camp, this activity also collaborates with the Disaster Management Center (DMC) Dompet Dhuafa to provide disaster mitigation education, including training in fire extinguishing (APAR). Through this training, children are taught how to handle small-scale fires by using fire extinguishers directly, so that they are aware of the importance of preparedness in dealing with emergency situations.
The blessings of the month of Ramadan are increasingly felt, through the Ramadan Parcel which is a symbol of care in this event. The Dompet Dhuafa Community Service Institute (LPM) distributes them to all participants. These parcels are a form of love and support from Dompet Dhuafa donors, who want to share happiness with orphans and the poor. With these parcels, it is hoped that each recipient can feel the warmth and togetherness in welcoming Eid al-Fitr.
In addition, Dompet Dhuafa’s Free Health Service (LKC) is present to provide medical services to participants, ensuring that their health conditions are maintained during the activities.
The presence of various parties in this event further strengthened the spirit of care and togetherness. In addition to the support of medical services from LKC Dompet Dhuafa, support also came from donors who contributed to the welfare of the participants, especially orphans. On this occasion, compensation of Rp. 2.5 million was given to help the needs of orphans who participated in this event.

One of the participants, Alfarizi (8), expressed his happiness to be able to participate in this event.
“My feeling today is happy to be able to meet and play with friends. The most exciting activity is putting out fires,” he said enthusiastically.
Siti Nurlaila, the parent of one of the participants, shared her child’s enthusiasm for participating in the Ramadan Orphan Tour in the Madina Zone.
“This was my child’s first time participating in an event like this. He looked so happy. Hopefully the knowledge gained will be useful in the future, and hopefully my child can participate in other activities,” she said.
This Ramadan Orphan Tourism activity was supported by Wisata Djampang and IMZ Dompet Dhuafa. Here, children not only gained new knowledge, but also had fun experiences with their peers. The event ended with the distribution of donations and Ramadan Parcels to the orphans and poor who were present. (Dompet Dhuafa)
