JAKARTA – The almost-ended holy month of Ramadan 1446 Hijri is no reason to stop spreading kindness. On Saturday (03/29/2025), Fairuz A. Rafiq and two sisters Marcella and Olivia Zalianty together with Dompet Dhuafa agreed to distribute Tebar Zakat Fitrah (TZF) in the form of food packages consisting of rice, oil, wheat flour, instant noodles and cooking oil.
After paying Zakat Fitrah at the Philanthropy Building, South Jakarta, the three talented women hurried to the Tanah Kusir area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta to distribute 300 food packages to the people who were entitled to receive them.

Marcella and Fairuz expressed their gratitude for having the opportunity to meet the beneficiaries in person while listening to their inspiring stories. Like the two of them, Olivia is also convinced that TZF’s actions can alleviate poverty in Indonesia if carried out consistently.
“I am grateful and thankful to Dompet Dhuafa, because we were able to contribute directly by delivering food packages to people in need. We distributed them directly to the homes of the beneficiaries. We learned a lot, listening to the inspiring stories of the beneficiaries,” said Marcella.

One of the beneficiaries, Mulyana (43), said he was happy to receive a food package from Dompet Dhuafa that day. Because approaching Eid this year, he had not been able to provide for the basic needs of his four children.
“Alhamdulillah once. I got groceries today. I live with my four children and this Eid we really don’t have enough (basic necessities). I was so happy when Fairuz delivered the groceries directly to me. I plan to cook groceries for Eid,” he said emotionally.
The atmosphere of joy also reached Hadi (44), who also received a grocery package at his residence. Hadi, who is also a mosque caretaker, expressed his gratitude to Fairuz and Dompet Dhuafa.

“I can’t imagine what the future will be like if I don’t get basic necessities from Dompet Dhuafa today. With my condition like this (being visually impaired) I don’t have a permanent job. Sometimes I also offer massage services, and I also sell brooms at home. My daily income is around 20 thousand. Alhamdulillah, today I can cook rice,” he said.
The Director of Resource Mobilization for Dompet Dhuafa, Etika Setiawanti, explained that during this Ramadan, various programs have become a forum for various entities to join hands in helping those in need, including today’s Tebar Zakat Fitrah (distribution of zakat al-fitr) action.
While spreading messages of kindness, she continued, this action can be an inspiration for artists or other community leaders.

“Hopefully today’s collaboration can be the beginning of something good. Not only social, but it can develop into an empowerment system for the community,” he said.
Dompet Dhuafa initiator Parni Hadi also appreciated today’s action. According to him, to make big changes, Dompet Dhuafa is committed to opening up collaboration for parties with common goals, namely to glorify those in need.
“I am happy with the presence of friends today. The involvement of the artists today can be a partner of goodness that I hope does not stop here. Hopefully, Dompet Dhuafa and its collaborative partners can spread goodness on a global scale,” said Parni.
