JAKARTA – Every year Muslims welcome Ramadan as a month full of joy and forgiveness. As a sign of that joy, Dompet Dhuafa presents a series of programs to accompany the wider community in welcoming the month of Ramadan. Starting with Tarhib Ramadan titled #RamadanMendekatkan on Sunday (2/25/2024) at Martha Tiahahu Literacy Park in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.
Chairman of Ramadan 1445 H Dompet Dhuafa, Rina Fatimah said that there needs to be collaboration to bring all elements of society closer in achieving the blessings of Ramadan. One of them is by creating a positive and meaningful impact for those in need.
“This is an effort to bring all elements of society closer together to collaborate in the goodness of Ramadan. Thus, we can have a significant impact on those in need. Let’s make Ramadan a place to bring each other closer,” said Rina in her speech.
Rina mentioned that there will be several programs during Ramadan 1445 AH. Among them are Grebek Kampung, Tebar Zakat Fitrah, Sharing Sahur and Iftar Packages, Qur’an Alms, Glorifying Orphans, Ramadan Parcels, THR for Family Fighters, Borong Takjil, Alms for Worship Tools, and Ramadan in Palestine. The highlight of the program was the breaking of the fast with 1445 orphans at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII).

Chair of the Dompet Dhuafa Executive Board, Ahmad Juwaini added, this agenda requires a big role from the millennial generation. The hope is that this can produce benefits to build families or community groups in need. Such as gravediggers, parking attendants, and so on.
“Today the millennial generation is very large and will be the dominant generation in the next few years. This large number needs to be managed properly so that it can be part of good values,” said the man who is often called Pak AJ.

In addition to socializing the series of Ramadan 1445 H programs, on this occasion Dompet Dhuafa also introduced the features and use of Dompet Dhuafa Application services or DD Apps to visitors.
As the night wore on, the event became more lively. Especially when the guest stars performed. They are Vocafarabi, Rampak Bedug, Pitu Band, Trashic Band, Panji Sakti and closed by J-Rocks.
In the middle of his performance, the vocalist of Pitu Band, Abdul Matin invited the audience to download DD Apps to make it easy to pay zakat and alms only through gadgets. The invitation also came from Panji Sakti and J-Rocks vocalist, Iman Taufik Rahman.

“This is the umpteenth time we have done good together with Dompet Dhuafa. This time it’s more sophisticated, it’s easier to give alms. Waking up can immediately open the Dompet Dhuafa application and click the alms feature,” said Iman.
In addition to the guest stars who entertained the audience, there were also a number of booths that could be visited by visitors. Among them are a health check booth by LKC, disaster simulation using Virtual Reality (VR) games by DMC, Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) booth, and a free photo booth. (Dompet Dhuafa)
