CENTRAL JAVA — Department of Industry and Trade of Grobogan Regency held a comparative study to Dompet Dhuafa’s Suro Village Healthy Area on Saturday (23/11/2024). Not alone, Disperindag Grobogan invited the Poultry Market Traders Association to learn about integrated organic waste processing in the Biogester Programme in this area.
Biodigester itself is a tool used to convert organic waste into biogas. Biogas is one of the renewable energies that can be utilised for daily needs, ranging from cooking to operating electricity.
The comparative study by the Grobogan District Department of Industry and Trade was carried out in order to increase the capacity of market traders and the market cleaning management team in managing waste. The reason is that one of the markets under the supervision of District Department of Industry and Trade and the association has built a biodigester with a capacity of 7 cubic metres that accommodates poultry manure and vegetable waste.
