Within four days, Muslims can perform the sacrifice of the qurban, namely, Eid al-Adha and the three days of Tashreeq. Going beyond these days is not a sacrifice of the qurban and is past its time. The Prophet also gave instructions regarding the wrong time for slaughtering sacrificial animals, namely, if it is done before the Eid al-Adha prayer, the sacrifice is not valid.
