JAKARTA — As the 1444 H Sacrifice Day is just counting days. Dompet Dhuafa is again intensifying the Stocking of Sacrificial Animals (THK) in the Car Free Day (CFD) Jakarta Area on Sunday (25/6/2023). This action is one of Dompet Dhuafa’s efforts in disseminating information about sacrifice and the 2023 Sacrificial Animal Stocking Program (THK).
The event, which started at 07.00 WIB and ended at 10.00 WIB in the morning, was one of the pre-event events of the Dompet Dhuafa Sacrificial Animal Stocking Program (THK) series “One Sacrifice, Many Goddesses.”
THK Dompet Dhuafa has been present since 1994. Now that 29 years have passed, THK will greet all friends again who want to carry out sacrificial services in 2023. Since the first sacrificial program was implemented, Dompet Dhuafa has spread much happiness from sacrificial animals for those who receive their meat and empowered local farmers and farmers.

Opened by Etika Setiawanti, this event became the broadcaster (syiar) of the Dompet Dhuafa Sacrificial Animal Stocking Program, which is expected to invite all levels of society to sacrifice through Dompet Dhuafa.
“So today, Dompet Dhuafa invites all Dompet Dhuafa members to canvas in the context of THK Dompet Dhuafa broadcaster (syiar), where in a few days we will soon enjoy Eid al-Adha or the day of sacrifice. It is hoped that with this effort, more and more Indonesian people will be aware and willing to sacrifice through the THK Dompet Dhuafa Program,” said Etika when interviewed.
Car Free Day is one of the right choices because it can interact with the community directly. On the Car Free Day, brochures containing information about THK and souvenirs were distributed. The routes include Sudirman Station (Kendal Tunnel), Bundaran HI, and Sudirman Station.
“In CFD, so many crowds or people do sports and cycling activities. We hope to increase awareness so people will know THK, be moved willingly and make sacrifices in DD. We take advantage of the moment, and join in, exercising as we show the campaign through our activities and the tools we bring.”

This year the THK Dompet Dhuafa Program targets 32 thousand sheep and goats nationwide for distribution. As is known, in remote areas, many people still have never tasted sacrificial meat. This year it will also target the Eastern region, such as Somalia, Palestine, etc.
Through the THK program, there are many benefits; in addition to relatively lower prices, the sacrificers also empower local farmers or livestock centres in 11 points in Indonesia.
“The advantage of sacrifice in DD is first from the social side, so we increase our sense of sensitivity to share in our people who have never or rarely tasted meat. The second is the side of spirituality that will be felt because sacrifice is one of the teachings in Islam that is very good, and we obey. Then the third is that we provide economic value for local farmers empowered through Dompet Dhuafa,” concluded Etika.
