TANGERANG, BANTEN – Dompet Dhuafa and AIA Syariah collaborated again in the spirit of kindness by sharing blessings with 1,400 orphans in the Greater Jakarta and Lampung areas, South Sumatra, throughout Ramadan 1446 H. Among them was the distribution of school supplies and THR (holiday bonus) to 300 orphans and poor people from villages in the Gading Serpong area on Sunday (03/16/2025).
Not only was the distribution carried out at the Asmaul Husna Mosque, Gading Serpong area, Tangerang Banten, but it was also enlivened with Fairy Tales and Fun Games by Kak Muis – a storyteller for children. Laughter and emotion alternated when Kak Muis presented a reflective story with a little humor to the orphans.
“A message for our cool younger siblings, no matter what our current situation is, we are not alone because we have Allah Almighty and the Prophet Muhammad in our hearts. Alhamdulillah, it went well. The children enthusiastically answered the quiz and listened to the fairy tale. So for you out there, if you love the Prophet, the best way is to love and honor the orphans. They are the friends of the Prophet,” said Kak Muis.

One of the beneficiaries, Ray (8), expressed his happiness after receiving a new backpack. This independent boy, who helps his mother sell Nasi Pecel at home every day, also said that he enjoys listening to stories and fun games from Kak Muis.
“I’m really happy to get a new backpack from Dompet Dhuafa and AIA Syariah today. My bag is torn, it’s not comfortable to wear to school. Thank you Dompet Dhuafa and AIA Syariah,” exclaimed Ray.
Previously, in addition to distributing donations and school supplies for 1,400 orphans and the poor in Jabodetabek and Lampung, AIA Syariah and Dompet Dhuafa had also distributed humanitarian aid to survivors of the floods that hit Jabodetabek during Ramadan 1446 H. (Dompet Dhuafa)
