BOGOR, WEST JAVA — In an effort to strengthen collaboration among volunteers, ID Humanity Dompet Dhuafa held a volunteer consolidation forum for the Greater Jakarta area on Sunday (04/05/2025). The event was held at the Al-Fatih Musala, Sinarjaya Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor.

Following the consolidation, the volunteers conducted a cleanup of the mosque, which appeared to be in need of maintenance. They also encouraged the local community to participate in the social initiative to create a comfortable and suitable place of worship.

The mosque cleanup included repainting the walls, cleaning the surrounding area, and installing new fences, all aimed at enhancing the comfort and safety of the mosque for both residents and visitors.

The Al Fatih Mosque served as a gathering place for volunteers from ID Humanity Dompet Dhuafa across the Jakarta metropolitan area as well as the site for a mosque cleanup initiative on Sunday May 4 2025

“The reason we chose Musala Al-Fatih is because the condition of this mosque is poorly maintained. We want to invite the community and volunteers to work together to repair it so that this place of worship is more comfortable for worship,” said Narwan, Head of the Humanitarian Volunteer Division at ID Humanity Dompet Dhuafa.

During the activity, volunteers worked together with local residents to clean every corner of the mosque, as well as giving it a fresh new look through painting and repairing facilities that had begun to look dilapidated. Fences were also installed to enhance security and comfort.

Edi Hermawan, a representative of the Al-Fatih Mosque Welfare Board, expressed deep gratitude for the assistance and collaboration provided by ID Humanity Dompet Dhuafa and the volunteers.
