JAKARTA — The month of Ramadan 1446 H was a moment of joy for 75 orphans and underprivileged children. Dompet Dhuafa, through its channel JadiBaik.org, collaborated with the Marc Klok Foundation and BTS ARMY Indonesia to hold a social activity as part of the “Belanja Bareng Yatim” (Shopping with Orphans) charity campaign on Saturday (March 22, 2025).
Through the Belanja Bareng Yatim campaign, the initiative aimed to show care and concern for orphaned children by inviting them to experience shopping for Ramadan essentials and preparing for Eid al-Fitr at no cost.
The shopping event took place at Lotte Mart Kuningan City shopping center in South Jakarta. The children were enthusiastic and joyful as they selected various personal items, including clothing, prayer accessories, food, beverages, and other necessities. Their faces radiated happiness and excitement, filled with smiles and joy.

Dompet Dhuafa, through JadiBaik.org, appreciates the collaboration with its partners, which has made the distribution of aid possible. The distribution is the result of cooperation between various parties, including Panti Goceng, Black Stone, Bens Radio, Masjid Atta’awun, and Youth Empower.
“Alhamdulillah, we are very happy to see the extraordinary joy of our younger brothers and sisters. Of course, this activity would not have been possible without the support of our collaborating partners at Jadibaik. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Panti Goceng, Black Stone, Bens Radio, Masjid Atta’awun, and Youth Empower for their full support of the Belanja Bareng Yatim campaign,” said Anto Langgeng Prayogo, Digital Fundraising Manager at Jadibaik.

The event went smoothly and warmly until it was time to break the fast. The children were then invited to enjoy a meal together, ending the day with togetherness and gratitude.
Through this activity, it is hoped that more people will be inspired to take part in bringing happiness to orphaned children.

One of those feeling this happiness is Rafa Putra Ramadan (11). In addition to himself, he also bought items for his older brother, younger sister, and mother.
“I just finished shopping for necessities or for myself, for school and for household needs,“ Rafa said happily.
“I bought snacks, biscuits, food, and drinks for my older brother, mother, and younger sister because they’re often needed at home,” he added.
Rafa also expressed his joy when accompanied by a volunteer from Dompet Dhuafa during his shopping trip.
“It’s nice to be accompanied by the older siblings; they’re kind and friendly. Thank you for accompanying me shopping; may your blessings be abundant,” Rafa concluded.
