BOGOR — Dompet Dhuafa, through GREAT Edunesia—the Program Implementation Partner (PIP) of the Umar Usman Education Foundation (YPUU)—has once again reaffirmed its position as a transparent and accountable philanthropic organization. Through its education program pillar, Dompet Dhuafa has officially received ISO 37001:2016 certification for Anti-Bribery Management Systems (ABMS) and ISO 21001:2018 certification for Educational Organization Management Systems (EOMS).
On Thursday (04/09/2026), these certifications were awarded by NQA, an International Certification Body, following an audit process that confirmed Dompet Dhuafa’s entire educational operations meet global standards.
The implementation of ISO 37001:2016 serves as tangible proof of Dompet Dhuafa’s commitment to mitigating the risks of corruption and bribery. In the management of zakat, infak, sedekah, and wakaf (Ziswaf) funds, this system ensures that every rupiah allocated for scholarships or the construction of educational facilities is free from practices of bribery and conflicts of interest.
Meanwhile, ISO 21001:2018 focuses on improving the quality of educational services. With this standard, Dompet Dhuafa ensures that students from underprivileged backgrounds (duafa) not only receive free access to education but also a competitive curriculum, inclusive services, and standardized facilities on par with world-class educational institutions.
Achieving these two ISO certifications simultaneously sends a strong message that donors’ trust is well-managed and audited by external parties. Beneficiaries also receive a guarantee of internationally recognized educational quality. It also underscores Dompet Dhuafa’s accountability as a nonprofit organization operating professionally.
“This step is part of Dompet Dhuafa’s transformation to continue safeguarding donors’ trust and ensuring that the social impact we generate is truly high-quality and sustainable,” said Asep Hendriana, CEO of GREAT Edunesia. (Dompet Dhuafa)
