JAKARTA – The spirit of sharing care is once again present through the collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa and PT AIA Financial through the Islamic Religious Community or Majelis Ta’lim Attawun AIA. An emotional and joyful situation filled the entire mosque hall in the AIA Central Building, Setiabudi, South Jakarta. A total of 50 orphans and poor children gathered to receive donations and break the fast with AIA stakeholders on Wednesday (19/03/2025).
Also present that afternoon was the President Director of PT AIA Financial, Harsya Wardhana Prasetyo, who gave a speech and motivation to the employees and the orphans and poor children.
The excitement peaked when AIA shared happiness by presenting Fun Games and a Fashion Show to entertain the children who were present that afternoon. Towards dusk, the session switched to Ustaz Ahmad Shonhaji as the Social and Da’wah Director of Dompet Dhuafa who presented a study of Islam.

The Chairman of the AIA Ta’lim Attawun Council, Fitroh Fuadi, said that the distribution that day came from the Ramadan Program benevolence fund, some of which was also contributed by AIA employees. He said that the donations in the form of compensation and gifts would target 50 orphans and the poor around the Hidayatullah Setiabudi Mosque, South Jakarta, located not far from the AIA Central Building.
In addition, the beneficiaries of this year’s AIA Ramadan Program are also the workers in the AIA Central Building who are in need, namely 200 people including cleaning service, security, parking attendants, and so on.
“Alhamdulillah, today’s distribution went smoothly. We really want to share with the people closest to us, close to AIA Central. Among them are needy AIA workers, as well as orphans and the poor who live around the Hidayatullah Setiabudi Mosque, near our office. This time, the total number of beneficiaries is 250 people. Hopefully, this collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa will continue so that it can bring about other benefits,” said Fitroh.

Continuing Fitroh, Ustaz Ahmad Shonhaji also welcomed this collaboration with open arms. According to him, an agenda like this requires intelligence, a sense of sharing, and sincerity.
“This is a beautiful collaboration in developing humanitarian agendas. Mainly building a sense of caring for the people around us,” he said.

Haikal (8), Azam (9), Rizky (7) look happy. Haikal and Rizky said that they wanted to use the donation to buy Eid clothes. With enthusiasm, Azam interrupted Haikal and blabla, that he would give the donation directly to his mother.
“Because Dad is sick at home. So later on, I will give the donation directly to Mom and Dad. So Dad can buy medicine,” said Azam.
This event is part of the PT AIA Financial Ramadan Program, which aims to distribute donations to 1,400 orphans and the poor in Greater Jakarta and Lampung. Not only that, AIA itself has also distributed humanitarian aid to survivors of the floods that hit Jabodetabek during Ramadan 1446 H. (Dompet Dhuafa)
